Presentation is always Representation
“At the start of The Basedprint 2, the new mixtape by Lil B, he advises us that there’s ‘no need for volume one.’”

Badass molecular biologist *and poet* Katherine Larson is featured on Gwen Eiffel’s poetry segment in last week’s News Hour. Larson won the Yale Series of Younger Poets competition last year and last month won the Kate Tufts Discovery Award for promising poets. Meanwhile, she’s also a working ecological researcher in Arizona.
She says, “Science gets to a certain place … a horizon, a liminality, of what you don’t know, what can’t be explained [by science itself] to a point that’s satisfactory, that allows for the breadth and depth of the human experience.”
Basically she’s the most wonderful human alive. Also: nice book cover.
Eric F. sent this to me with the subject heading “all your favorite things in one spot,” which is 100% correct.
